Villa Sans Souci, a three bedroom residence, built in 2006 is located on 1.6 acres in desirable Jones Estate at an elevation of 120
feet, on the western side of Nevis - the Gold Coast - about a five minute drive from the
Nevis Airport and from the Seabridge Ferry at Cades Bay. Offering wonderful views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring island of
Saint Kitts, Sans Souci is within walking distance to the island main road providing guests with quick and easy access to the seaside activities at Oualie Beach, great restaurants, grocery stores and government services
like police and fire protection. No need for a four wheel drive vehicle just to get home from the beach...even when it rains. Ease of access, close to amenities, yet quiet and private. |

Furnished as the owner's personal residence, Sans Souci is well equipped to provide ultimate comfort and privacy for up to six guests.
Three distinct areas house the Master bedroom - (king size four poster bed) - with ensuite bathroom; the Great Room with the kitchen, dining room and lounge; and a separate guest area with two bedrooms - (queen size bed
and 2 twins) - bathroom with shower and the laundry facilities. Running the full length of the villa, with fabulous Caribbean Sea views, is a 60 foot verandah, paved in the local stone.
Half of the terrace is covered for shade (or the occasional tropical shower) and the other half consists of open areas to sit in the sun under the partial shade of two pergolas. The 12 x 24 foot infinity edge
swimming pool is located directly off the verandah offering a wonderful place to relax, cool down, while gazing over the Caribbean Sea and our neighboring island of St. Kitts. |

The villa is finished using locally produced products. The floors and countertops, and three showers - including an outdoor
shower allowing one to take in the views while bathing - are all finished with Nevisian cut stone. Eight feet high, louvered doors face the Sea and allow for an open feeling during the day and let the Tropical
breezes blow through at night, giving one a cool, yet secure sleep. Also in the villa is high speed Internet access, Cable TV, a Bose stereo system and an Apple TV system pre loaded with approximately 6000 songs,
ranging from Caruso to the Grateful Dead. A 10 kW automatic start generator provides power during the ever present disruptions in island power, allowing for an almost seamless
continuation of electricity to all of the vital components, including the air conditioning systems and wireless security system. A 15,000 gallon cistern provides a back up to the island water supply during disruptions
in water delivery. Villa Sans Souci was designed to be "eco" friendly with a separate gray water piping system to allow us to eventually recycle of all water from the sinks, showers,
dishwasher and washing machine. All appliances are new and Energy Star efficient. A trash compactor is used to minimize the use of plastic trash bags. Hot water is provided by a solar system and high
efficiency ceiling fans are used to cool the rooms, although we do have air conditioning in the three bedrooms for limited use. Even the swimming pool uses an Ecosmarte purification system all but eliminating the
need for chlorine use. A weekly maid service and pool cleaning are included. The owners are happy to help arrange on island transportation, airport transfers, private chef or additional maid services.Villa Sans Souci is
available for private occupancy from one to six guests and is priced accordingly. |
