Nevis Queen Of The Caribbean - A MUST Have Book!

Nevis Queen Of The Caribees - Another great book about Nevis.

Antigua, Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis - This book is a great book for those of you planning on visiting St. Kitts too.

A great book covering all of the Leeward Islands, of which Nevis & St. Kitts are a part of.

Sanddollar, and yes that is the way THEY spell Sand Dollar, is not easily found, but it is worth finding.  The bar which is octagonal shaped is located on a beautiful stretch of beach overlooking St. Kitts.  The atmosphere is beautiful, the music hot and loud, and the drinks reasonable.

Sanddollar is open on most weekends, and I believe during the day, although I have never been there during the day.  This said however don't plan on getting there before 11:00 PM or you will be most likely sitting on your own.  The place doesn't really get jamming till about 1:00 AM, and goes till 4:00 or 5:00 or ? AM.  They have wonderful chicken and snacks at night, which you will need after dancing for a few hours.

The dress is come as you are, but most people, especially women will be dressed to kill...Nevis style!  If the partying/dancing gets too much for you, have no fear, walk 50 feet or so and your on right on the beach.  Many times I have walked down to the sea, and took a quick plunge to cool off.

If you plan on going to Sanddollar, check around first to make sure that they are open, then see if you can take a taxi there AND BACK.  It is hard to find, and the road is bumpy and sandy.  More than once I have pushed cars out of the sand.....yes including my own.  Now I rent a jeep and don't worry!  I really love this place, and if  you like Reggae and Dancehall music, you will too!  Don't worry if you don't know anyone there, you soon will.  Nevis people have a way of sensing when people need to be adopted and shown the "Nevis Style" of having fun.
