responsible for putting Nevis on the world map as a credible windsurfing destination, born and raised in England of Kittitian / Nevisian parentage, Winston has been windsurfing for nineteen years and a professional
instructor for the last fourteen. After discovering the Islands potential as a Windsurfing Holiday destination in 1991 he brought Hi-Tech sailing to Nevis, and worked with the hotels
and tourism department to exploit this potential, Winston also worked with local youths teaching and coaching them to the point where they could join him in representing Nevis both at local and international regattas. Windsurfing is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone male, female, young, old its about having fun and getting a little exercise, and, after all the wind is free! Nevis has
reefs that provide both protection inside for the beginner and an exotic playground for the advanced sailor, warm water,
sandy beaches, palm trees, and glorious sunshine, it is little wonder that windsurfers come to Nevis to indulge in their sport of choice.
Articles highlighting the windsurfing conditions on Nevis have been printed in magazines from France, Germany, England, Canada and the United States, all of which have helped to inform enthusiasts around the world of
the existence of this tiny Island, and of the reception they are likely to receive should they venture to this way. Most recently the top sail manufacturer in England, Tushingham Sails (UK) shot their latest
