There are many ways to get around in Nevis, and I have tried them all! From a rental car, to the back of dump tucks, to hitchhiking, and even a donkey cart, oh, and just once courtesy of the Nevis Customs Department, don't ask! Thanks Glasford! For first timers to Nevis I suggest a guided tour from Teach Tours so you can get the lay of the land, then a rental car, or if you have the funds, a limo tour from Islander 1, definitely classy. Oh, and don't forget for the best deal on getting around in Nevis try the local buses. Great fun and cheap too, just the way I like it! All of the buses have their own names, Smile On Me, Exodus, Roots, etc. Just look for where people are waiting on the side of the road and ask them where the bus goes, they will be glad to help you find your way. Try Exodus to town, great driver. |
