Pinneys Beach is considered to be one of the best in the Caribbean, and certainly the best, though busiest on Nevis. The views of Saint Kitts in the distance are simply wonderful, not to mention the Sunsets. The only drawback is the crowds of tourists from The Four Seasons Resort . Fortunately they generally stay in their "Cocoon-Like" enclave at the resort itself Pinneys is also home to Sunshine's Beach Bar, home of the deservedly famous Killer Bee rum punch...once again though it can be full of tourists from The Four Seasons...their idea of roughing it, and seeing Nevis LOL. You would be better off going to Chevy's Calypso Beach Bar in my opinion, also on Pinneys Beach. This said though, Sunshine does have GREAT food, though a bit pricey being next door to the most expensive place on Nevis. Four Seasons guest think they are getting a deal LOL. At any rate just go enjoy the beach, and stay as far away as possible from the overpriced tourist traps! |
