This Photo was taken at Prinderellas, alas now gone. It was a great bar and restaurant that overlooked Saint Kitts. I had a lot of great times here, especially late
on a Sunday night when many places were closed on Nevis. You could always count on this place being open for last call. The chefs from Four Seasons, Montpelier, and many other Nevis restaurants came here as
it was open after they finished work. I always enjoyed talking to the chefs, especially about their Caribbean recipes
. I learned al lot about cooking with Caribbean ingredients from these guys...thanks to all of the Nevis Chefs! Too bad Prinderellas in now closed, but in its' place is Gallipot, another great Nevis restaurant. Oh and by the way, the word "limeing" means roughly "kicking
back", "relaxing", or just plain partying. For example you might say when asked what are you going to do tonight, you could reply " Well I am just going to lime at Oualie Beach" Lest I forget, Lennox, pictured above, does great Catamaran tours on his boat the
Cayona. |
