Carmalie Dancing Up A Storm At Oualie Beach
God Bless Her. Sadly Carmalie passed away several years ago while at work at Oualie Beach, a trooper to the end. Apparently she suffered a brain hemorrhage and just
passed away on the spot. If Postman Tim is my favorite male Oualie employee, then Carmalie was my my favorite female employee. On occasion Tim and Carmalie worked together, and even after all the
times I have been to Nevis, those times were the best. I miss her very much, and can still hear her voice asking me "another Heineken Mike?" When you go to Oualie
look above the bar on the right hand side and you will see a photo of Carmalie and Tim together. The photo is in a driftwood frame and hangs in remembrance of Carmalie. I had it made shortly
after she passed away and brought it to Nevis with me to hang in the bar. Sort of makes me feel like she is still watching out for all of the guests. |
