To say that dining at
The Botanical Garden of Nevis, (1787 Bistro and Bar) is a beautiful experience, is a gross understatement
at best. Set among eight acres of tropical plants from around the world, the food while good, seems to taste even better. This s a great spot for lunch, or an afternoon snack. The menu is eclectic with
offerings such as, a Tapas Plate, Ploughman's Lunch, Fruit & Cheese Platter, to an English Cream Tea with fresh scones. The prices are a bit steep, but worth it considering the atmosphere. Oh lest I
forget, there is a nice gift shop selling jams, candles, soaps, wind chimes etc. Open Monday -Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, but as usual call ahead to avoid disappointment.
Just a quick note, all food and catering is now supplied by The Montpelier Plantation Inn....now you know why it is soooooo good! |
